Time For War

Time for War – Kalai In the prechorus there is a little riff that goes something like this: C C7 C(Cm?)C C7 e--0--0--0--0--0--0--| B--1--3--1--0--1--3--| D--0--0--0--0--0--0--| G--2--2--2--2--2--2--| A--3--3--3--3--3--3--| E--0--0--0--0--0--0--| but you can play it without the riffage. This isn't exact, but it's nice to be able to sing along with some adaptation. If anyone a better way of doing this, please let me know, or post it or both! G D Fellow countrymen gather round Am C and set your minds at ease. There’s nothing new for you to figure out, it’s just your hearts we need. So kiss your mamas and say goodbye. But tell her not to forget about our fathers who bled and died so she’d have someone to miss. Em D C, C7-C-Cm-C-C7 Most of you will be home again Em D C, C7-C-Cm-C-C7 though some may find their way to Heaven. Em D C D But rest assured they’ll arrive as free men. G D Am I believe in this one because the cause is good G D Am and we won’t fight cause we have to but because we should G D Am and I can see what it is and what it means to be united. G D Am You can’t destroy the rock upon which freedom stands. C D G D Am Oh brothers it’s time for war again. So wear your colors but wear them proud like millions have before, cause they were sewn by the hands of God and they’ve never ever been torn. Most of you will be home again though some may find their way to Heaven. But rest assured we’ll arrive as free men. I believe in this one because the cause is good and we won’t fight cause we have to but because we should and I can see what it is and what it means to be united. You can’t destroy the rock upon which freedom stands. Oh brothers it’s time for war again. (Repeat chorus 2X) (on second round, repeat the line, "You can't destroy..." 3X)
